I wrote this a few years ago, and today I’m applying it fresh to my life, and to each of our lives. Since writing it, I’ve added more as God continues to reveal His truth.

The Son is shining brightly in and through me, and there is warmth all around. Love is flowing through my heart for all, and life is flowing through my veins.

There is an embrace to be found and encountered in each person I meet on the streets, and a sweet-smelling fragrance within every soul encountered.

The breaker anointing I carry deep within cannot be overtaken. The ground and land I’ve been given will see the fruit of God’s promise.

Angels surround me in all weather changes, leading me into transforming places where lives are touched and renewed.

Everyone around me I see as a rose in bloom. Even though there might be thorns, I am not afraid of being pricked because of the beauty within each person.

This is going to be a grand rest of the year! Though storms may rise, no storm will stand in my way. My highway has already been cleared and plowed by my Creator — the Blueprint Holder and Maker.

A Step Further

“It is finished.” — John 19:30

In Greek, the word is Tetelestai — the passive perfect tense of the verb telō, meaning to bring something to a state of perfect completion, to achieve, to accomplish.

This is not just “an end” or “termination.” It is the victorious declaration of successful completion.

When Jesus spoke these words, it was more than the completion of His earthly mission. It was a truth meant to echo in each of our lives — that the Father’s work is fully accomplished in us.

In English, finished means over, done, complete, refined, perfect, polished, and elegant.

When Jesus said, “It is finished,” He declared that our salvation, deliverance, healing, needs, ministries, gifts, and callings were secured in Him. It was — and is — a completed work in each of our lives.

The bottom line: in Jesus’ words, everything needed for us to walk in God’s image has already been taken care of. Through Him, we can come boldly to the Father and lead others to Him.

As we spend time with Him and truly get to know who He is, His fulfillment and completion will rise within us.

“It is finished.” He sits at the right hand of our Father and Creator.

Love, Blessings & Shalom,Michael

Scripture for Reflection

  • “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6

  • “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness.” — Colossians 2:9–10

Closing Prayer

Father, thank You that the work is already finished through Jesus. Thank You that in Him, we are complete, restored, and made whole. Help us walk in the truth of Your promises, seeing others as You see them — roses in bloom, full of beauty despite the thorns. Let us carry Your love into every encounter, knowing You have already cleared the path before us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
